The Impreza WRX Performance Package has been designed by Prodrive to deliver class leading performance, boosting torque by over 30 percent and extending its availability across a wider rev range than the standard engine.

The improved performance is produced through a carefully developed combination of matched exhaust and engine management modifications. This combination of enhancements boosts peak power to 270 ps at 5,700 rpm (previously 230 ps at 5,600 rpm on the standard engine) and delivers an impressive 420 Nm of torqueat 3,000 rpm - an improvement of 30 percent on the maximum torque of the standard car. With the performance package fitted, the Impreza WRX has more torquethan the peak of the standard road car, from 2,400 rpm, right through to 5,500 rpm. These impressive statistics ensure that drivers have the responsiveness required for performance driving, including all-important, mid-range overtaking.
