Legacy & Outback
The subaru Legacy is a mid-size family equivalent to the Impreza. Part of the original design goals for the Legacy model was to provide Subaru with a vehicle they could compete with some of the more well known German counter parts, such as Audi, VW, BMW and Mercedes. With Subaru now in the 5th generation the Legacy has proved to be an asset to Subaru, with rally models and some interestingly powerful engine options, such as a 2.5l twin turbo engine as an import only.
